In the past the bungalow has been used by more than one author who needed a quiet sanctuary to work when facing a tough deadline. It has a mission-style desk and an office chair that will hold someone who is more than 300 pounds. Track lighting in the room supplies ample light, and there's also a Tiffany-style lamp on the desk. There is high-speed wireless internet from Comcast. (Both the modem and the router were purchased in February 2021.) A crystal clock and a module with extra electrical outlets come in handy, and the desk contains an assortment of office supplies. (If you use them, please replenish what you use if possible.) There is also a computer printer in the area, but it hasn't been used in a long time so its ink tanks are questionable. You're free to experiment with it though!
The artwork over the desk is of Geoff Dodge, a long-time friend of the owner, taken when he drove Indy Lights cars; this shot was taken prior to the Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and shows the famous pagoda in the background. It's the largest piece of art in the bungalow in recognition of all the hard work Geoff did during the bungalow's renovation. These days you might catch him driving a winged sprint car at area dirt tracks.
